We have 24-hour Emergency services with on-duty and on-call Gynecologists available 24 hours every day. Well-trained anesthesiologists and nurses are available round-the-clock for all kinds of emergency services including emergency normal delivery, painless vaginal delivery, emergency caesarean sections as well as all kind of emergency laparoscopic & open gynae surgeries.

Pediatric Echocardiography
Pediatric Echocardiography is a non-invasive ultrasound examination of a child’s heart that helps evaluate the structure and function of the heart. It is commonly performed to assess heart murmurs, cyanosis, breathing difficulties, poor weight gain, suspected congenital heart disease, and follow-up of known cardiac conditions.

Fetal Echocardiography
Fetal Echocardiography is a specialized ultrasound examination of the baby’s heart during pregnancy, usually performed between 18–24 weeks of gestation. It helps detect congenital heart defects before birth, especially in high-risk pregnancies.

Pediatric Emergency Services
Upon your arrival in the pediatric emergency department at Siddhi Memorial Hospital, our staff at the emergency department will identify which patients are the most acutely ill and requires immediate attention. In an emergency department, it is extremely important that we treat the most acutely ill or injured patients first.
Our staff will ensure that children with minor illness or injury also are treated as quickly as possible. We will make every effort to provide treatment as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding. In general, children are seen in the order in which they arrive.

Our 6 bedded ED is equipped with essential syringe pumps, monitors, baby warmer etc. and it comprises 6 beds including 1 in the procedure room. Children receive the best possible care for emergency illnesses and injuries.

Common procedures are Incision and drainage, cut injury repairs, foreign body removal, minor & major dressing, burn dressing etc.
In our ED Doctors & pediatricians (MD in Pediatrics) are available 24 hours who are supported by Senior Pediatricians and Pediatric Surgeons 24 hours.
Care at Emergency:
In the Emergency Department, a doctor or team of doctors and nurses will care for you. Our trained nurse will ask you about your child’s problem. Your child’s temperature and weight will also be checked. You may have to undergo X-rays, blood work, or other tests. You will need to wait for the results of any tests you have. You also may wait to see a doctor who specializes in treating your problem. If your condition changes, let your doctor or nurse know right away. Your child may be admitted to the hospital if he or she is very ill or need further evaluation or treatment. But they often can be treated right in the ER.
Before discharge from ER, you will be given written instructions about how to care for your child and prescriptions for any medications your child may need. Be sure to ask your doctor or nurse if you have any questions about the care your child received, additional instructions about the care your child may need after ER discharge, or about the prescriptions.
Orthopedic Service:
We have orthopedic doctor available 24 hours in case of emergency. Our duty doctor will do the primary care and examination and the orthopedic doctor will be informed accordingly.
About PEWS
Pediatric Early Warning Signs (PEWS) are clinical manifestations that indicate rapid deterioration in pediatric patients, infancy to adolescence. PEWS Score or PEWS System are objective assessment tools that incorporate the clinical manifestations that have the greatest impact on patient outcome.
At Siddhi, we have adopted the widely accepted early warning scoring system to assess sick children in the ER or the Ward. This tool is employed to identify children who are at risk of deterioration to prevent intensive care admission or cardio-respiratory arrest. The parameters we consider are pulse rate, respiratory rate, capillary refill time, oxygen saturation, supplemental oxygen requirement, and level of consciousness. The patients are classified as Green, Yellow, Orange and Red and are prioritized for treatment.
The PEWS has significantly improved the objective identification of the overall status of sick children presenting to Siddhi Memorial Hospital. Consequently, there has been a significant improvement in the quality of communication within the medical teams and a decrease in morbidity and mortality of patients.

The pediatric in-patient department provides 24-hour medical services for sick children who need special attentive care. This includes children with respiratory diseases such as pneumonia and bronchitis, enteric fever, sepsis, burns, dehydration, malnutrition… This inpatient department consists 50 beds in two shared wards and private rooms (cabins), but the hospital is aiming to expand its capacity to an additional 50 beds. The private rooms are used for isolation of patients who are at high risk of contracting an infection or of infecting others. Service Hours: 7 days a week, 24-hour service

Our pediatric surgery team led by Sr. Consultant Pediatric Surgeon Dr. Manoj Krishna Shrestha has successfully operated the above mention surgeries multiple times and we get referral cases from all around Nepal.
– Pediatric Surgery OPD – 6 days a week
The hospital accommodates 8 beds in the neonatal and three beds in the pediatric intensive care unit. Both units provide 24 hour emergency care for children and neonates with life-threatening conditions in need of immediate intensive care. These intensive care units are fully equipped with the most up-to-date technology along with expert team of pediatrician and highly skilled nurses to offer incoming patients the best possible treatment and care.
