Celebrating 25 years of Siddhi Memorial Foundation and a lasting friendship with Meg’s Children Australia

The Committee of Meg’s Children Australia wish to congratulate Mr Shyam Dhoubadel and his wife Mrs Ranjana Dhoubadel as well as the whole Siddhi Memorial Foundation community on this very auspicious occasion of the foundation’s silver jubilee.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to be with you to celebrate this very important event, however from across the many miles that separate us we will be joining with you in honouring this important milestone.
Meg’s Children is an Australian not for profit charitable trust established in 2005. Our goal is to support and enhance the lives of vulnerable and at-risk Nepalese children who either do not have family or whose families are not in a position to provide for their basic needs.
Since the establishment of Meg’s, we have worked hard to provide a safe and nurturing environment for those children in our care as well as meeting their needs regarding health and nutrition. Our strong belief is that “Education is a basic right for all children.” The fact that we have three of our older children successfully completing University degrees and three more currently enrolled in university attests to the power of this strong belief! Our younger children are attending good schools, and their progress is monitored closely by their teachers. We look forward to bright futures for each and every one of them.
We at Meg’s consider ourselves to be most fortunate to be have formed a strong friendship and working partnership with the Siddhi Memorial Foundation over the last five years. This connection was formed through our shared values of providing care and assistance to those less fortunate than ourselves, and our organisation has been given renewed resolve to continue as a result. Our collaboration with Siddhi Memorial Foundation ensures good governance is maintained for our organisation in Nepal, and that we are in step with changes in Nepalese regulations for child welfare. In turn, this allows us in Australia to focus on seeking funds to continue our valuable work.
We commend Siddhi Memorial Foundation for all it has achieved in the last 25 years, and wish you every luck in your future endeavours. We also look forward to many more years of friendship and collaboration between our organisations. Once again, Meg’s Children Australia extends a very sincere and hearty congratulations to SMF, on this your silver jubilee.
